Is there anyway to disable the extremely annoying "*Name* messaged you" message?

You just need a silenced firearm and some 2 stroke motor fuel. Once you've disposed of the charred remains, you wont be getting any more of those pesky message notifications.

Remember to shave off all your body hair so that you don' leave any trace DNA and turn your phone off so your location can't be placed exactly.
