Why Are The Republicans Trying to Destory Social Security by Privatizing it?

Volcanus is basically right on the money.

You see, the "leadership" of the far right is primarily useless imbeciles who inherited money, and couldn't get jobs in car washes or delivering pizza if they had to do so on their merit. Look at Boehner and Limbaugh, for example, who have no skills, no conscience, no honor, no integrity, and no actual ability to do anything practical at all. So if they see money lying around, like the scum maggot Charlie Keating and the rats at Enron and filth like Spiro Agnew, they have a need to steal it. It's called "greed". And don't kid yourself, it would lead to an immediate depression, probably worse than the one of 1929-'34.

What amazes me is their fake outrage when someone suggests restoring tax rates to older levels and lowering their master's effective profits by 1-3% or so. This is what happens when we allow unethical, completely unprincipled dishonest sleaze to have input into this great nation's affairs.

Most of them belong in mental institutions and/or prisons.
