If you had invested your social security money in the stock market 40 years ago, how would you be doing today?

In my opinion, if someone has invested for 40 years, they would be coming up on retirement age. You are supposed to take your money out of the stock funds several years before you retire and put them into the safest investments.

Having said that, I would be a millionaire after investing 40 years.

But that is just my opinion.
