How can I turn off the sound for the facebook notifications on my PC?

Click on the volume control part on the taskbar and click 'Mixer' (on vista and windows 7 PC's) unsure if there is this option on Mac and older windows machines, when in the mixer menu, just mute the interent browser's sound instead of the master volume.
