How to convince my dad to let me get a facebook?

Simply tell your dad that you wants to do Facebook to get in touch with your schoolmates, colleagues and friends for study and other purpose. Along with that make him sure that you won't violate the Facebook by posting indecent images and vulgar status. Also try to tell him importance of Facebook and Social networking sites, if he's not aware of. I am sure after clarifying above given he will definitely allows you to get into Facebook. Every father has a soft heart for their daughter. All the best.
