Have you ever looked at the history of the market?
Look at the 5-10-15 year performance of stocks, then look at the imaginary SSA "trust fund" and tell me what you would honestly trust?
I would rather be able to take my 6% SSA contribution and invest it myself.
If you know nothing of the market then stay with SS, let me opt out any day.
