When you delete or hide something off your facebook timeline can your friends see those things?

When you delete something off of your Facebook timeline the post should disappear everywhere. Your friends won't be able to see it while scrolling through your timeline because it no longer exists.

When you hide things on Facebook from your timeline, the post won't be visible in your timeline but it will be visible elsewhere such as on a friends "News Feeds". In other words if you don't want none of your friends to see something on their news feeds then the "hide from timeline" is not the option for you.

I would suggest changing the privacy of your posts accordingly to what you feel more comfortable with. You can make lists of friends. You can always change the privacy of your posts to "everyone", "friends", "friends of friends" and other lists.
