How do you tell if someone really deactivated their Facebook page, or just made themselves private?

You'd be able to see her if she had the privacy turned up, but there wouldn't be much on her profile. I'd suggest her account is deleted if you're not blocked, yet nothing comes up. She may also not be using her real name.
