A common misconception is that what exists in the USA today, is actually free market capitalism. It is not.
You don't need to read somebody else's ideas to examine the human marketplace, just sit and think for awhile about civilization and what happens when people come to live together in groups. That's where the free market originated, and capitalism is just another word for: .................... using your own resources to increase your own resources. Now, if someone believes that such a pursuit is morally wrong, then we have a fundamental disagreement about the birth rights of every human being on earth. I say that every last human being on the planet has a right to pursue productive happiness using their own capital. % |
