I wanna appear married in my public facebook profile but I don't want the name of my spouse showing too?

I don't seem to find a way to do that. I already when through Facebook help information but it doesn't say anything about changing the person you listed as the spouse or how to manage this piece of information.
It just seems to me that the name of my spouse is too much information for "everyone" to see. But I want to appear married in my public profile so I won't receive anymore "friends of friends" Facebook messages/requests of guys hitting on me.
Is it possible that Facebook really doesn't have this option?
I'll really appreciate the help. I'll give stars too
