Shall i stick with my Psychology Major? Or go into Social Work?

Hi,

I'm majoring in Psychology and get my A.A. after this semester. I would really like to work in therapy or counseling. Something with children would be nice - working wit traumatized children, or disabled children, or troubled teenagers - Maybe even troubled families,... or Mariage counseling.

I want to do my Masters, (hopefully right away... I know its not the best paying career, but something I really like to do/always been wanting to do.

But now people were telling me that the market is better if I have a degree in Social Work instead, or Child Education (I could become a kindergarten teacher which I'd like, too). I love the Psychology - But if iss really that Bad I don't Kid changing.

Can i for example get my Bachelor in Social Work and then my Master in Psychology? How would you recommenf me to go?
