my ex is black mailing me with a restraining order violation.. what can i do?

It's not illegal for him to violate his own restraining order against you. First of all. People need to understand that. HOWEVER, you can go to court to contest the order, or file for modification. Since he contacted you or replied.... it shows he is clearly not afraid of you.

To be honest, I think you really should just LET HIM GO. Move on. Block him from your social media accounts, & forget about him. You have children? Time to focus on them & forget about the guy. You can't have your children taken away just for violating a harassment order... but it will make you look horrible in court, & you could end up with CPS involved. Once CPS is involved, you can potentially lose your kids for a variety of reasons. So, be mature & responsible.
