Group invitation on Facebook from someone who's not on my friends list...?
I have been invited to join a group on Facebook (something about a free iPhone) by someone who is not on my friends list. I have no idea who the person is; we have no mutual friends.

How were they able to invite me to a group when they're not on my friends list?

I know you can get invited to events by admins of groups that you are in, so I checked, but the person who invited me is not an admin of any group I am in...

Thank you for reading. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
