Take action. I had the same problem. It appears that Facebook has some overly-cautious policies that, although they may be purposed to benefit their users, can really be aggravating. They have no contact information available to users either, which is just obnoxious.
Facebook blocked my account, just out of the blue, for only God knows what reason. Anyway, I was able to e-mail them through their web site: http://www.facebook.com/help/?page=1048 Under Disabled: You are unable to log in to your account, and it is no longer visible to other users. Go to My personal Facebook account is disabled. Under Disabled for violating Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities there is a hotlink that says "click here" - Select that - It looks like this: If you have not posted violating content or otherwise violated the Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, click here. You will be directed to a form. Fill it out and submit. -------------------------------------------- After all this, I still received a request for ID. They claim that they need to confirm I'm who I say I am and to make sure that I don't have multiple accounts. That's weird, considering that I hardly use Facebook and have 0 friends because I don't accept friend requests. I'm not a fan of social networking sites. I went to: http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php...tification and sent them a scanned image of my state photo ID. That should clarify the issue. |
