I understand both sides of this one and am still not certain where I fall...basically I'm just looking at it as a commercial that makes no difference to me in the long run.
As for racist language, I read Mr. West's post and have no problems with it at all, nor did I notice ANY racist language whatsoever. When last I checked, you were still permitted to have an opinion in this nation as well. I think it bothers many conservatives because it came across as pushing the "diversity" issue quite strong. America does not have an "official" language, but it is common knowledge that our communication is in English as it has been since our founding. The odd part is that many push the concepts of providing things in different languages to those who come here not speaking English. Years ago, when immigrants arrived, most took pride in learning English as a sign of their commitment to their new home. Now it seems like the general thought is that America needs to adapt to each culture that arrives, not the other way around. The Warlock Ads |
