Hello,

Windows 7 should automatically detect your routers "SID" ("Security IDentifier") the Name the router broadcasts), but in order to log on, you must configure your computer with the password (security key), exactly as set on the router. (This password is the one your router expects to see from your computer, when your computer wants to use your router for getting access to the internet.)

Click the Wireless connection icon in the Notification Area/
Right-click your listed "Connection" (SID)/
Properties/
'Security' tab:/
Enter the "Network Security Key"/
OK.
