Do you think the reason why women are objectified more than men in the media is because...?

Really? Well if that's true then how comes so many women complain about it? Lol
As a female myself I would just rather see it be fairer (meaning just as much of men as there are women) or not atall.
1) I'm a straight woman - I would rather look at a good looking nude man.
2) The fact I have to sit with my boyfriend while every couple of minutes a naked/sexualised woman being portrayed in a sexual way is on the screen in front of us, actually makes me feel uncomfortable. Do I really need to be reminded every two minutes that I'm not a model or that as a woman my only worth is in how I look and how sexual I am.
3) As a woman sexualisation never sells a product to me, unless the product was underwear or sex toys, perfumes or something like that, something actually sex related. The fact companies always feel the need to throw sex or naked women in in some kind of a way to sell a product, can actually put me off and think how sad it is, that they aren't confident enough about their product (meaning its crap being made to look good) that they have to resort to that to sell it, when it has no relevance to what they are trying to sell.
