If you have the same content on your website as your blog will that prevent you from ranking on Google?

If the pages are identical, with no other content, then that's definitely a problem. Google will normally only index one version of an identical page. If it's only a portion of the content then it depends on how large of a portion it is.

Content that is not 100% unique can and many times will rank just fine. But if a majority of the content is duplicate, it will likely not rank or even be indexed.
