My experience may be out of date, they are always upping the spam game, you at least used to be able to choose the html code option and compose your own page, including larger images linked from another host, you could also put a link in that code, it's probably better to use a url shortener, for an indirect link, though some could be seen as a spammer red flag.

Repeating ads like your posts here would be bad. Ghosting is one strategy for handling excessive post offenses.
