High quality links are easier said than done. When the New York Times writes an article about your company with a link to your site, that is most definitely a quality link. If a blog with lots of traffic, recommends your site through a permanent, ever-green story, that is a high quality link.
All links are potentially useful, but when a link comes from a reputable or even great site, it holds more value with the search engines, than say an obscure directory listing. Still useful but holds less value. Reach out to bloggers in your niche and see if anyone wants to write about your site or you can offer to write something for their site. Don't be pushy - - it won't serve you well. They know what you want. Good luck link building |
