How to delete Internet Explorer completely? Usual fixes have not worked.?

In Win Explorer go to tools, folder options, view, look for “hidden files and folders” and select “show hidden files . . .” Now create a notepad text file with the name “Internet Explorer” but NO EXTENSION.
Go to your C: program files and put the text file in there. Delete Internet Explorer. If Windows tries to re-create Internet Explorer, it will fail because there is already a file/folder with that name.
If Windows doesn't allow you to delete Int Exp, you need a little prgramme called "Unlocker' which is very useful anyway.
