How to delete Internet Explorer completely? Usual fixes have not worked.?

In Win Explorer go to tools, folder options, view, look for “hidden files and folders†and select “show hidden files . . .†Now create a notepad text file with the name “Internet Explorer†but NO EXTENSION.
Go to your C: program files and put the text file in there. Delete Internet Explorer. If Windows tries to re-create Internet Explorer, it will fail because there is already a file/folder with that name. If Windows doesn't allow you to delete Int Exp, you need a little prgramme called "Unlocker' which is very useful anyway. |
