My internet keeps disconnecting?

>to isolate if issue is with isp or router, bypass the router and connect pc to modem and check the stability
>if issue persists then contact isp, if not connect back the router to desktop
>open the router interface and check for firmware upgrade
>upgrade it, if there is one and then check for intermittent connection in wired and wireless
>then once again u can reset router and is called power on off reset
1. U need to reset with a pin/paperclip and then remove the power from router while holding reset
2. again plug the power back, still hold the reset
>Repeat two steps for abt a minute and then wait for LEDs to be green
>reconfigure the router, even the issue persists then router is faulty
>call the tech support and tell him, router is faulty and tell them that i've done all possible steps to fix

P.S Power On Off reset works and fixed most of intermittent issues. I've given the same solution to most of customers and it worked
