What is an E#/Fb fingering on flute? or an alternate name for the note?

Yes, A# sounds the same as Bb - but you have hit an exception with E#. That note ( the enharmonic spelling) is F. And Fb is E. If you look at a piano, there is no black note between E and F - that is why this is an exception. same deal with B and C - B# is C - Cb is B.
