Yes.
The seller is legally responsible for ensuring that any item sent gets to the buyer. If it gets lost in the post, you must either replace it or refund the total amount paid. It's up to you to insure anything against loss or damage if you don't want to stand the costs yourself. You cannot disclaim responsibility for loss or damage in transit, that's both a breach of ebay rules and unlawful. You can set your minimum postage costs enough to cover an appropriate level of insurance. Make sure you always use signed for (for items up to £15) or insured services... Ads |
