I just had the same thing happen to me a few minutes ago. I was almost scared to death. After seeing that someone else had encountered the same problem, I can see that it was a site trying to scare me, and you as well. It was I think an ad or ransomware. If the police/FBI really wanted to track you down like that, I think they would just come to your house.
