F = m*a

1) Fa + Fb = 13 Kg * 1.00 m/s2 = 13
2) Fa - Fb = 13 Kg * 0.500 m/s2 = 6.5
solving these two equations yields :

Fa = 9.75 N
Fb = 3.25 N
