i dont want to block one of my friend on Facebook, i just dont want to see anything about him on my wall?

well what you are looking for is the "Following " option. Go to your friends profile. There are three buttons on their cover picture. One of them being "Following". Just click it and it will show "Follow" which means you won't see any of their post on your news feed.
