Netflix video quality is poor?

I know for sure when the quality falls on netflix in our house it is normally when the internet is being heavily used.
Sometimes both my sons are playing games online and say my wife is surfing the web.....This is when the problems start for me normally.
But to be honest this is pretty random and doesn't always happen but like i say if it does happen then our connection is normally normally to blame due to high traffic.
