Banned Internet connection?

Call your "ISP" and simply asked is there an issue with your account. If they ask what type of issue just say my internet is not working; if they say something about illegal DLing then I can't help you lol, but if they say no then hang up and troubleshoot the problem. Disconnect your modem power adapter and coaxial cable or phone line and wait 30 seconds. Then plug both cables, wait for about 4-8 minutes depending on how slow or fast the modem takes to initiate internet connection. Plug in the power adapter into the router and plug in the Ethernet cord between the two. Make sure your firewall is not blocking your connection or any programs as well. Since you mentioned your XBOX 360 I know it's not the firewall. There has been a DNS malware going on, but I'm pretty sure it's not that due to the way you describe your issue. If all else fails, call the company again and get a technician to come to your house, it is their job and respectability to satisfy and resolve customer needs and issue.
