the most important thing you said regarding resolving this is that "HE LEFT YOU". He is going to keep playing this game as long as you play along. He obviously isn't over you or he wouldn't be going to all this trouble. Sounds like he wants the fringe benefits without the commitment. Such a guy thing. Anyway, I can almost guarantee you the second you remind him that he left you and tell him to stop texting you and change your status to single he will be at your front door on his knees begging for your forgiveness. When that happens (if you even want him back) take advantage of it. First of all don't give in easy, make his dumb @ss beg for it, and when you finally do give in lay down some serious no-sh*t ground rules. Have fun with it. You have this guy wrapped around your finger but you just don't realize it.
