I'm hating college, what should I do?

It's true that going to a small school could limit your options but they also tend to be more intimate. It's only been your first semester so you need to give yourself more time. I played soccer which automatically gave me a group of people to socialize with. It's good that you have joined a club and participate in groups. Keep putting yourself out there and you will find some people that you can be yourself around. Keep resisting the temptation to go home unless staying at school puts you at risk for using drugs or drinking too much. That seemed to be one of the biggest factors to kids not graduating, getting involved with alcohol and drugs.
