if you upload a picture in a private folder does it still show up on facebook timeline?

Only you and your friend will be able to see it . If you ever need to make sure, up on the bottom left corner of the cover photo , there is are buttons "update activity" and "activity log"
Next to it is a little circle thing and click on it and you will see "see as". You can put in anyones name to see if it's visible to them
