aww.. Sad im sorry that you're going through this. im sure your dad doesnt realize that he is hurting your feelings. the "ugly duckling" comment, ironically sounds like he is being affectionate. & i think that when he calls you retarded in front of your friends, he is tryin to be "the cool dad". talk to him & let him know that it makes you sad. if you dint want to talk to him directly, write him a letter. he'll stop once he knows that he's hurting your feelings. Smile
