it's a violation of facebook's terms and conditions you agree to when you sign up - but that doesnt mean it's illegal

what makes it illegal is when you claim that you are actually that real person, that's identity theft

facebook will delete your profile if you pretend to be someone you are not, if you lie about your age, your name, or if you create more than one account
