Advertising on Facebook?
I Recently agreed to a company that offered to advertise my Business on facebook margins, these people were not Facebook themselves but stated they would still place an advert which would be seen by 32000+ plus people in my Local postcode area, It cost me £60 for a 2 week trial. I took it only in the Knowledge that it was a one off payment.

Sadly these Scheming toerags have taken a further £150 out of my Card account and now say that they will do this until I cancel my agreed contract. Thats utter rubbish as there never was an "Agreed" perpetual contract..

To add insult to Injury, over the Two week trial period and the subsequent 4 weeks of the alleged contract neither me nor anybody I know that are facebook users has ever seen the advert (which is supposed to get advertising space in the margins of face book)

I now live in fear that the vermin can take money at their leisure from my debit card account, I have notified my debit card company about the sharp practice that this lot use.

Sadly they cannot do much at present or until I Cancel the agreement (the agreement I never actually had or requested). At the Moment im £210 down with nothing to show for it and more than likely another £150 will be taken off again this month.

Does anyone know how I can fight for a refund of this money or how i can best deter the good people of the UK from being ripped off by such Rogues in the future.

I shant name the company in question in case its Libelous but they are allegedly heavily involved with this type of advertising on social networking sites such as facebook.

Facebook were not interested and didnt want to help either, they just said take it up with the independant advertisers..a real shame that because lowlifes like these independants give facebook a lot of bad press..

Any Advice welcome..
