I'm not going to write your essay for you, seeing as it's 12 marks I assume your teacher would rather know if you're capable of writing that much, and to a high quality. I can, however, provide you with a bit of help on the media factor. Whether it'll be much help to you, I don't know. But here we go:
Media has influenced family life massively since 1900s, the introduction of televisions etc, mean it's a lot easier for news to get through. Controversial news can cause disputes among family members, right? The media update has enhanced this, and made it a lot easier for families to argue over whether someone should, for example, be sentenced to jail or whatever. Computers are a form of media as is the internet, and in this age, nearly every household has an internet connection. Internet can cause families to be torn, with perhaps the teens resulting to sitting in their rooms, just on the internet everyday, and only really socialising through social networks, or texting. Phones as well, they've become a bit destructive of family life, you could be sitting at the table, enjoying a family meal, but at least one of the children would be incessantly on their phone, or texting, it's disruptive, right?
