If your goal is to develop a website such as facebook, I would also start reading up on PHP, MySQL and Javascript. PHP is a scripting language that functions to make web pages dynamic. MySQL is a language that deals with databases, and storing data, and Javascript is another scripting language that adds functionality to web pages. You cannot make the next facebook, google, youtube, etc., unless you get a firm knowledge of atleast one of these.
