is there like a support group for people who have someone in their family that has down syndrome?

Here is a link that will take you directly to the Down Syndrome Network of Northern Nevada's family support group.

If you also go to the home page, it looks like this group has lots of great information and services.

Facebook has great pages if you just need to chat with someone, though I'll have to be honest, I am in a couple of FB groups, my son has autism, and like FB, there can be way too much judgment and drama within some of these groups. And you don't get a chance to meet up in person as you would with the link above.
