If "proxy" keeps coming up, and you cleared it in the network and browser settings, then 100% sure you have some virus that is re-setting the proxy settings. Hackers do this to re-direct all your network traffic through their proxies, so they can capture all your traffic and information (they do this for identity theft). Often, the hacker proxy gets shut down or blocked by ISPs, but your virus is still trying to connect to it, failing every time.
Time to do a full virus scan, and a Malware scan. Re-check all browser settings and network settings, to make sure you do not have any proxy enabled. Trying to get to US Netflix requires some form of IP spoofing or some "proxy". It may be that which has been blocked or shut down. Remove that software, and check if you can get Netflix at least in Canada. Ads |
