There really isn't an easy way out of this. If your friend is mad, and you like this guy, then you should go out with him because your friend is already mad at you, so it can't really get any worse. If you don't like this option and you can't think of anything else that'll work, maybe you should kill yourself. Or you could kill the person causing the problem - whether it's the guy or your friend, you decide.
