How do I know if my computer has a virus?

The most thorough way if you're using Windows is to open your Task Manager (start-->run-->taskmgr) and go to the "Processes" tab. Perform a Google search on each of those processes to find out whether it is a harmful process or a normal one; several sites archive process names and you can find out if you have the virus.

Dealing with the virus is another issue; once you know its name you can deal with it separately.
