How is the Free Market possibly going to solve any of the Major Social Problems that we have in America?

it won't. not everything can or should be capitalized. which is why in general polling, republicans tend to do better, but in specific polls where a specific issue like SS or poverty are concerned, liberals tend to do better. all of politics these days, i.e. health care, is whether or not the national narrative will be government vs. free market in general, or on that most basic of levels, or what specific thing the government is trying to spend money on. this last time around, it appears that basic won, and hence the republicans.
