if a teacher looks at your facebook profile and uses it against you in school...?

I'm not sure if it's breaking the law, but then again they shouldn't be getting too involved in things that happen outside of school and aren't in reference to school either. They also probably shouldn't be checking up on you out of school either. Why do you or your friend have this teacher as a friend on facebook anyway? Or if you don't then check your privacy settings so only friends can view your page etc. so this teacher can't see it.

Just be careful of what you post on the internet next time, but I do agree that your teacher probably went too far looking on your profile pages to 'check up on you'.
