How to improve my website Alexa Ranking?

Hey, I have seen a massive improvement in my website's alexa rank during the past 3 months.
from 2,19,34,589 to 10,34,493 (and still improving day by day).

Few things which i would like to share.
1. Most important thing is the content..My plan was to add at least 1 to 2 unique articles in a week. So far i have added around 40 posts on various categories.

2. I have used social marketing sites to promote my site, like FB, reddit, google +, pinterest, etc.. (Most useful i found is FB, Pintrest and reddit).

3. Sitemap creation, i have added my site using the google webmaster tool, and i'm keeping the sitemap updated.

4. backlinks - it's one of the key factor in improving the rank. currently my site have 11 backlinks..

5. Traffic , Traffic & Traffic - At end of the day you need a traffic to improve alexa rank... but if you are following first four points then i feel that getting traffic will be the guarantee..
