When you change the privacy settings on Facebook from 'Only Me' to 'Friends' does it appear on their Timeline?

yes it will appear ON your timeline. But you can also remove some tags and photos from your time. They will be available in your profile's photo folder but will not appear on your time line. If you made anything " friend" it will be visible to your every friend of facebook.
