•Just think before you post. What you think is funny, might be hurtful to others. It doesn't matter if you're on Yahoo! Answers or Facebook or your email or YouTube. You being witty could really hurt someone's feelings.
•Play it safe. Never give out personal information. If you buy online, check for a secure HTTPS connection, and it's safest to not use any form of wireless internet while shopping. Also, change settings on social networking profiles so only contacts or friends can see it. •Take steps to protect your computer. Don't download from untrustworthy sources, install antivirus software and keep it up to date, delete cookies and browser history, and always log out of accounts, especially emails or bank accounts. •In conclusion; Yeah, we all have bad days and don't always think while we're online. The Internet is a wonderful place for information, fun, and communication, but we still need to remember who can see what we post. Everyone. |
