Why are some filipino kids so spoiled?

Some Filipino kids got spoiled/act spoiled/look spoiled because of (any or a combination of) these factors:
1. As another user put it, these kids might be from a new rich family. Parents who were raised in a poor family then became successful in life may raise kids in two ways. They can either teach kids the value of hard earned money, or they spoil their kids wanting them to have everything they were deprived of in their childhood. With the latter, kids grow up spoiled.
This is true even with some poor families, too. I know some parents would like to give everything they can to kids even if they aren't well off.

2. Some parents use material things as a replacement for their absence. This may be true for 'some' OFW's and even parents who live with their kids yet don't spend quality time with them.

3. Peer pressure. Some teenage kids aren't really spoiled. They want to have the "IN" thing to keep up with their friends whether they're rich kids or not. They "act spoiled" "look spoiled" NOT because of PARENTS but because of friends.

4. Influence of advertising media and commercialism. Companies create products and advertising media create "wants". People think it's nice to have the latest gadgets and have the latest fashion trend on the closet. To some being able to afford these things is a status symbol. (may fall under "looking spoiled" if being spoiled to some is measured by material things)

PS: Now, i know what kind childhood the "lady" up there had and what kind of family she was raised up in the Phils. Can't blame her if she loves dissing Filipino fathers in many of her posts saying they're poor providers, lazy, drunkards, etc, (thus liking white men), and for being jealous of rich spoiled Filipino (or Chinoy) kids she saw in Europe.
