I deleted a photo I really didn't want in my video and tried again and got the collage of six still photos...but!

If on chrome go to your cache

C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cache

Look for the exact time you were using viewing the video and then look for a large file - mine was 5.6MB in size. Save that file somewhere else (my docs etc) and rename with a .flv file extension.

Good to go (but still have that photo I dont want!)

I had the same 'deleted my post then all I could see was 6 photos on the lookback page' problem as others here. I assumed I'd lost it for good, but thanks to the cache tricks posted here I got it back! Brilliant! Thanks guys.

here's another question though... when I first watched it on facebook it was in small resolution fuzzy-vision.... but there was an HD button on the bottom right of the video that you could click to make it much clearer. This cache trick only brings back the standard def version. Is there any way to get the larger HD version back? Thanks!

[SOLVED] The solutions below would work just fine if you follow each step. But, unfortunately though, for those who have seen their lookback video (but did not share coz they found some photo that they did not like to be included) and purposely delete those photos from their respective folders, YOU HAD JUST RUINED YOUR CHANCE BIGTIME in recovering your lookback video. Facebook has automatically created the lookback video through coded formulas of each FB accounts with the information or data that had been gathered by the time it was being made. Therefore, any changes you've made by deleting your disliked photos will never bring back what was offered to you. So, all you got is a big THANK YOU!

1. Type "chrome://view-http-cache " on your chrome search bar (provided that you don't clear history/cache after you close your browser)
2. You will see a list of links on your window, just click Ctrl F or ⌘ F to and search "lookback" in the Find searchbar
3. Look for the link that will have something like https://lookbackvideo7-a.akamaihd.net/hvideo and so on. Click that link.
4. After you clicked the link, you will see on your window a bunch of text with white background. Ignore that. LOOK AT YOUR URL BAR. You should be able to see something like chrome://view-http-cache/https://lookbackvideo7-a.akamaihd.net/hvideo-ak-prn etc etc. In the long string of url, DELETE THIS PART: chrome://view-http-cache/ then press enter.
5. You should be able to see your video again. Right click and choose "Save Video As" and just reupload on your Facebook timeline.
