Which thesis is better?

I would really appreciate any input on which thesis is better.

Personally, I would really like to go with the first thesis as it's a bit more general and thus will be easier to relate research to. Thanks for any input or suggestions!

Thesis 1: Organizations that effectively utilize social media marketing strategies can positively impact their brand.

Thesis 2: Organizations that effectively utilize social media marketing strategies can positively impact consumers’ perceptions and awareness of their brand.

I would say the second one! Because people these days are quite apprehensive about social media marketing strategies.
