How to delete my twitter account permanently?
I want to delete my twitter permanently. Is deactivating the account the only way to delete it ?

Yes.. 30 days after you deactivate your account, it will be deleted.
It's probably a way for Twitter to prevent people from "accidentally" deleting their accounts.
